What is that?
Hi there
How are you?
I know it's been a while since I posted on my blog. Forgive me, as it has been an interesting few months around here!! Not just or me, but for everyone.
So today I am writing about virtual learning.
You want to learn something new and have chosen to do so online. Why? At the moment, the answer to that question is obvious, because we are in a pandemic and social distancing is in full force.
How to you find the right course for you and how to you find the right platform for you? You may not get to see your tutor physically, but you will see their picture or see them via video. If they turn it on!
As a Certified Online Learning Facilitator (COLF for short), I have been trained to deliver courses online effectively and interactively and to keep learners engaged. For that I use the chat facilities, video interaction, exercises, Q&As throughout the session and handouts at the end.
If you had the choice, would you choose to attend a virtual course or a face to face course? Why?
What would you choose to learn? Why?
I guess you are wondering what the cost would be? A lot cheaper than travelling to attend a venue and sit in a classroom. You have no travel costs, no hotel bills and you don't even have to get dressed!
There are lots of online courses for all sorts of subjects and interest. Search Google and see what you find.
Topics I run courses on are the Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Publisher. I do know and train on lots of other applications too. Contact me to find out more.
That's if for now.
Be back soon!
